Have you ever wondered why some people can t get enough physical fitness while others couldn t be bothered to get off the couch? Physical fitness is the performance of some activity that helps keep you fit and overall healthy.


Physical fitness helps keep you in a shape. You ll be more toned, your heart will be in much better shape, you ll have a lower risk of getting diabetes, and you ll actually come to look forward to it because it relaxes the mind. And shouldn t all of us have a little fun?

5 Components of Physical Fitness

Physical fitness is the ability to function effectively throughout your workday, perform your usual other activities and still have enough energy left over to handle any extra stresses or emergencies which may arise.


The components of physical fitness are:


* Cardiorespiratory (CR) endurance - the efficiency with which the body delivers oxygen and nutrients needed for muscular activity and transports waste products from the cells.


* Muscular strength - the greatest amount of force a muscle or muscle group can exert in a single effort.

Get Your Groove Back Through Physical Fitness

I want each of you to know how I got my physical fitness groove back. What is groove?


I define groove as a state of mind, a personal comfort zone to be more exact. Anyhow, I got my groove back by asking myself three very important questions, they read as follows:


1. Do you enjoy your current health?


2. What are you going to do to improve your physical conditioning?


3. When are you going to start changing your current health?


These three questions helped me get my physical conditioning back in order. In other words, I had to minister unto myself in order to get back to the level of physical conditioning I know I needed to achieve.
